I think that' s possible. She hasn' t done much editorial work (if any) and she's getting a good amount of shows now. That rarely happens with black models.

they said in her model of hte minute article that she carreid aroudna chanel bag constantly.--i love her, but i hope she starts putting togeather in a more mature fashion when ther are cameras around---we want karl to love her.

As a fair skinned African American girl, I look at her the same way alot of Asian girls look at Hye Park- she's pretty, but there are certainly prettier girls in our community

I think she looks like a "regular" Black girl, and I think that will work well for commercial work. But she also has a sophistication and grace- plus a slight Asian look- that I think will translate well in couture.

she's 'pretty', but in a very ordinary way, imo....
she looks very, very commercial.....

the only place i think she looks great is in barcelona, with that wild curly hair....at least it gives her an EDGE....

I agree. I mean, I don't see a problem. There are plenty of models that look "average"- isn't it ideal for models to be a blank canvas? I think I'll reserve judgment as far as her appeal goes (whether or not she's "too commercial", etc) for when we see her editorial work.
