HAHAHA Omg I almost fell over when I read that.
Im sure you could out shop me I'll wait for you in the seating area while you shop for an extra 2 hours. I like Cartier An I actually have Bvlgari Assiomas, I couldnt do Breitling. I'll probably go check out the white j12 this week.
Im not all logo an monograms I just start getting into them because I had a strict policy agianst them for the last 5 years, time for change I guess but enough about me back to the Chanel J12....

Did anyone else's J12 come in a box that looked like that? Both of mine came in boxes that were basically all black and didn't have that pillow thing. I'd hold out for one from a boutique

That's another thing the box is rather standard while the J12 box is simple yet very distinctive.

My watch finally arrived in the mail today, although it's been about 3 months ago that I had my Birthday. It's okay though, this is probably the best late Birthday gift I've ever gotten! Only one problem though, instead of a diamond bezel it's just the white one with the markings & numbers which I wasn't expecting or asked for. I kinda like it though, but I'm still contemplating keeping it or not since I know the diamond bezel is much more expensive, ugh I dunno I might need to sleep on it.

MissBliss, its up to you but I personally like the one with the diamond bezel the diamonds Chanel uses are just so beautiful. Also on the white the diamond bezel isnt as flasy as it is on the black.

Diamond-wise, what is the best combo for the Chanel? I want a subtle touch of extravagance in an everyday watch. So only the dial? dial and bezel?.. just the bezel?.. TIA!

My sister owns the Cartier you're talking about, I personally like both. I think the J12 is a little more special than the Cartier which is a tiny bit on the generic side. The J12 pops. And in regards to diamonds, the bezel would be the most pronounced while the dial is more reserved. The markers (my choice) is the most reserved but makes the J12 less generic (w/o diamonds is so pedestrian).

I personally like the bezel, but I like things a bit more flashy If you're going to get the markers + bezel, which I believe is only reserved for the limited editions I'd say go that way! I love the numbering on the backs Good luck and can't wait to see pics!

Noriko, you can pull off all the diamonds. Not everyone can wear 5 carats on thier wrist for daywear...

Id look like Daddy Yankee if I walked out w/ a J12 w/ the diamond bezel.

My SA from Chanel just called me. She just got in the black Ultra ring in my size (10) I dont know, it looks cute on Samantha Jones and in pictures I just don't want my manly fingers to overwhelm it (I can deal with every other manly part about me except for my sausage fingers). That's why I asked for the 5-row one...Oye...It's rather pricey too, I think it's 1k...Hmm...It would look spectacular w/ a J12, or is that overkill?

^ No, not at all. Especially considering that neither piece is obviously chanel...ie. the logo is splattered everywhere which in that case would be considered overkill. Their both classic designs so they should look great paired together. I love my J12, I've been meaning to post pics as soon as I get some new batteries for my cam.

Couldn't get the damn ring off my finger, they had to windex it to get it off. It was really embarassing, then the manager tried to convince me if I didn't take it off it would fit. I was like "are you a complete moron or just partly?"

Haha that is hailirious! You got windexed at Chanel. I hate it when you know something either doesn't fit or doesn't look good and some stupid sales associate tries to say you look amazing in it.

Dont laugh! It was mortifying, mortifying! The SA tried to make me feel better by saying that they had to "windex" Joan Rivers once and then the SA said that "she needed a hand-lift"
