SO happy it's something new. Alot of their Campaigns events feel actually really expensive and interesting. I Love the over saturation.

I look forward to the glossy fold-out campaigns in magazines for the beautiful landscapes.

In that second shot, Lulu looks like she was photographed in a studio a thousand miles away from the actual location, and with a few swift moves of the mouse, transported there by magic, with a very artificial outline.

Lulu’s 2nd shot is comedy! It doesn’t even look like they digitally added her. Looks like they cut her out of paper and then scanned it on up of a photo of the location 🤣

The OVER-LIGHTING on that second image does jar it a little, I think they just didnt adjust for a FULL WHITE look, as everyone else is pretty well lit wearing Black / Dark colours.

Still super beautoful and Serene. I miss images like this across the board from all fashion houses.

Chanel campaigns are so frustrating because they uses 4 photographers: I&V, Sadli, Sims, Jansson and while they are all seems to work from the template created by Karl in terms of Art Direction, some photographers are more leaning to a more 80s/90s imagery (I&V) and some from the 00s/2010s.

I take everything over anything I&V but I’m surprised by how lukewarm the whole thing looks here. The first shot is perfect.
Tilda’s shot and Liu with the jewelry are perfect but it feels like on others Liu’s shots, she is squeezing herself to let the landscape be the main character.

Mmmmmm now I’m less impressed. To cold and blue toned, but the subjects themselves are so uninvolved in the space. Still okay, better than the usual.

My favorite is the last shot of Wen against the lush trees. I like the location of the shoot (if it was shot on location) and the calm feeling that I am experiencing while looking at the photographs.

nice website banners!

what's the point of randomly throwing tilda in? and the locations might be beautiful but they're too different from each other so it doesn't even feel like one coherent campaign.
