US Vogue Summer 2025 : Hailey Bieber by Mikael Jansson

I have mixed feelings about this, I think it is an easy brezzy basic formula for summer (outdoors, lightweight clothing, exercise, neutral tones, landscapes) and it works in that way, but then we have the cover subject in Hailey which I guess it’s Anna thinking that Hailey speaks to the younger generations much like Kendall or Kaia in past summer issues. I do like it, but this is such a filler non event issue.

My one critique is Hailey not engaging with us readers, which just ruins this completely for me (such a pet peeve of mine). The whole water concept also just reminded me of last year's Kendall Jenner cover which was executed far FAR better.

I recently read on this forum that last year's summer issue with Kendall sold very well. I was not surprised to see the water concept on display again this year. Also, I agree that last year's cover was way better executed. I loved it.

I don't understand why she's nude on the cover, lol. The editorial is quite nice, but kudos to Jansson's great photography.

I love when Anna put House Ambassadors in others brands for the cover. I guess Hailey’s price at YSL will go up.
The ed is beautiful but let’s be clear, Hailey is the supporting cast of the great photography, composition and set.

WTH ahahaha my gosh and people had the nerve to criticize other covers ahahaha this is a circus.
Naked and under the shower for the FREAKING COVER OF VOGUE ??? Anna has lost her mind. This Hailey girl is so fake, everything she says, does, when she poses it's all so staged and not sincere. The whole editorial feels very phony. AND major letdown : Tonne ''styled'' this ??? She did??? For real??? I'm shocked!

^^^My mistake. Kendall was shot by Mert & Marcus, not Mikael. Both covers have similar elements to me, and can be paired. This was saved by Jansson's beautiful photography, and Tonne's edition. Also she has an early 90s' beauty, near to girls like Nikki Taylor or Susan Holmes, but sadly not skilled as those two to be fair. If Hailey had another team involved, this would have been total cringe. I don't know if I will look at this like I'm seeing now Kendall's cover a year later.
