I agree, the menswear is always pretty ridiculous, but that's just Karl I guess...

This doesn`t seem very current...

and in some ways the collection kind of scares me...but as someone pointed out, some of the individual pieces would be very wearable, I just wouldn`t go out of my way to purchase it anyhow.

I love some of the accessories though, but I guess that's to be expected from chanel.

I recognize that this collection represents the more commercial end of Chanel's output and image. I think this is key and makes the setting and audience totally appropriate. At least they keep this level of celebrity pandering to the resort show...

The collection itself is nothing to scream about it. But it's nice, great accessories, great sellable/marketable items. I saw a few pants and jackets that caught my eye. Every girl in L.A. (or who admires L.A.) with a little bit of money will be jetsetting around town with a interlocked C's all over. And every tasteless man will maybe have something to pick up as well. Although, I'd probably have to laugh if I saw any man in one of those tracksuits.

I felt the execution of this collection was very Lagerfeld, very precise and clean. I really like the color palette.

One of the Olsen girls wouldn't speak to Karl a year or so ago because she didn't know who he was (!!!) and Lohan made an *** of herself with Karl at Anna's dinner last year- Why are they there now!!? The last people I expected to see!! I mean, these were very public problems...who's next, Courtney Love!!
