Milan Week is over so prolly not. This thread has a crack team of investigators that would put Scotland Yard to shame.....if she walked, trust me, them photos would be posted here already.

Charlene never went to Milan or Paris. She's still in NYC. That's good though. Where are the other winners?

Your claim seems a bit odd because why then would Elite in Milan and Paris go to all that trouble of publishing her photos and stats in their show packages if she wasn't going anyway. Unless, some shoot or ad campaign fell into her lap in the interim that is waaaaay more career-building than showing up in Paris and Milan? Hmmmmm.

I hear that she's still in NYC because they are still fixing her visa. I am surprised as well since they released her show cards for Milan and Paris. Well, unless her Paris visa went through... She might be there now doing the shows.

You may be right too. She may have landed something BIGGER to pass up Paris and Milan. But I doubt that. Getting seen in Paris and Milan by the blue chip clients is like the next golden step...

If it's a visa issue, wow, Ford dropped the ball on this one big time. They had more than a month to get all her paperwork done, I'm curious what the speed bump was? Perhaps they didn't count on Charlene landing more than a dozen runway gigs in her first season at NYFashion Week hence they had to scramble to get her a visa pronto in time for the Milan and Paris shows? This is unfortunate because Charlene had a great maiden season and she could've ridden this wave all the way to Europe.

A newbie model could have had a stellar season (and Charlene did) in NY but if she missed the boat and had no major presence in the London, Milan or Paris shows, I think, yes, she's clearly out of the runnning for models.com's Top 10 Newcomers list.

Of course, not getting on the list, is not going to make or break her career, but one can't ignore the inherent cache and bragging rights of getting on it. Even if her career goes south after 5 years (unless you're a supermodel in the Racquel Z mold, 5 yrs seem to be the shelf life of most models nowadays) or even two, her name will be on that inner circle forever.
