It's of course very gimmicky. This 'au naturel' trend. They probably thought, hey, she's French, and they like that sort of thing over there.

Why do they always style her like this though??? I know it's her personal style, but this was for a magazine shoot. Last I've seen her out of character was for the Balenciaga campaign under NG and it was stunning.

I was referring to the 'Au Naturel' trend, notwithstanding the aggressive retouching.

something is totally off about her eyes - white makeup? what? i don't know, but i agree that she doesn't look like charlotte.

Nicolas could've at least made Charlotte some wings and antennae for her bumble bee costume.

i know right? seriously, though: why are people praising his work for vuitton so far - it's been largely bad imho!

Not a fan of the cover, and there is a strong deja vu feel about some of the shots, bu then I see the one with the leather mini, sheer blouse and strappy heel and go...
I cannot resist a girl in heels like that. It looks to me like the signature M.A.S. look.
