I have a great tip (lots of you probably have heard of it) : I put Talcom powder in the roots of my hair if my darkish roots are showing up or if I'm running out of the house without time to wash my hair. It works so well! :woot:
Does anyone have any tips like this?

it's supposed to absorb the oil in your hair so it won't look so greasy if you don't have time to wash your hair and all of that.

wut does talcum powder do to darkish roots???

It does really well, I heard it used by hair people in fashion shoots when the models roots are showing. It works so well and is like the cheapest trick in the book

anyone got any others?

As I've got roots at the moment, I gave your tip a try right before I got into the shower this morning, just to check it out, and it made my roots look just white, not lighter. Is this tip indended only for those with white/grey hair or did I do something wrong? :flower:

Ok well I do have blonde hair so I'm not sure if you've got dark hair, probably doesn't work. It makes them white but you shouldnt completely cover it. Its one of those things where practise makes perfect, but if you do have darker hair its probably not going to work..
