i think her outfit is amazing, people seem to forget that the X Factor is a SHOW. Everything about it is over the top so the outfits are more than appropriate. I would understand the comments if she wore that dress whilst walking her dogs or picking up dry cleaning but she was wearing it for the whole performance that is the X Factor.

I completely agree with what you're saying. It is a show and they 'play up' to their image and have fun with what they're wearing. The show is about the contestants singing, and if they want to have fun with their outfits, I say let them. I just think this can only be played out so far!

I don't actually mind her outfit either. I think that David Koma has produced some great stuff, and I just think that Cheryl has teamed it with too many accessories. The large hoop earrings and the long stockings are too much and make the whole look a little 'heavy.' I don't think the dress is that terrible, I just think it looks better on the model on the catwalk with no accessories and 'messier' hair.

Most possibly. It's just styled so bad and the outfit itself isn't all that either. Yes, it's a show and can be overdone. But over the top doesn't necessarily mean ugly/bad/ horrendous/horrible. You're pick.

I don't think it was that bad, honestly. If she didn't wear the earrings and let her hair down it would have been much much better. I like that she's going out of the box and not necessarily sticking to the "cute little dress" outfit every week on the X Factor.
