Cheryl Cole

There seems to be a different cameraman this week. The shots of them are a lot better!

It was in the paper over the weekend that she was going to be wearing a foriegn designer, who she's worn before on the show, as well as wearing British designer Jasper Conran. No idea how true it is, she's not exactly someone I can imagine going for Jasper Conran.

Anything Jay Z touches turns to gold, and he has his sights set on 'Girls Aloud Star' Cheryl Cole--professionally speaking of course.

Jay is reportedly going to help Cheryl launch her pop career in America. She launched her solo career last month, so the timing is perfect.

A source told Britain’s Daily Mirror newspaper: "Cheryl is the biggest fan of Jay-Z and Beyonce. To hear the feeling is mutual has totally made her year.

"She never imagined her album would have taken off like this. To get Jay-Z's support is beyond her wildest dreams."

Cheryl met Jay's wife Beyonce last year on 'X Factor' when Cheryl was a guest judge.

She said: “I turned into a fool when I saw Beyonce, I couldn't speak to her. I really embarrassed myself.”

But it looks like Beyonce was more flattered than anything else. If anyone can help Cheryl launch her solo career here, it's Jay Hova. Holla!

:woot:

^I'm so late! I wonder how much truth is there to this? If she works with Jay-Z, Beyonce, and Rihanna then she HAS to make it here. You can't possibly fail a career launch in America if she has TOP mega music moguls backing her! Can't wait to see how the next couple years turn out for her.

Cheryl has signed to interscope records to launch her solo stuff in the US :) also her dress tonight was stunning and i can't believe she won The X-Factor twice in a row

It kind of annoys me that they say SHE won, when she didn't do a thing, but hey I'm happy for her anyway.

Is she really gonna try and break the US? Argh... :(

^^OMG interscope?! Yes she looked stunning in the black dress tonite. good for her for winning again. btw danni's dress was lovely too

why does everyone seem to bee put off by her breaking the US? I have to admit that I don't think she has much to offer here but I have enjoyed watching her success

yeah interscope so thats great but i wish she would release her stuff with Girls Aloud aswell :( but her solo stuff will be great across the pond :).

agreed with the solo success, she may do well especially with the back up she supposedly has. Not sure about GA, US is not big on bands right now, male or female

Yeah but what does that mean? Choosing his songs once a week? I don't think the judges have much to do with it, it annoys me when they make it all about them. Buuutt anyway

^^ i have to agree with you. its about the judges, the contestants are just sideshows. sad really

Who knew it was the final? You wouldn't have guessed by the way she dressed. Dress looked okay today, hair looked okay too.

For the Cheryl in the US thing, I think it's a bad idea only because she isn't just starting out. If she was just starting her career I'd be all for it but I just think it's weird that most people would only just be finding out about Girls Aloud if Cheryl was famous here and have what, 6 years of history to catch up on? That's a lot. And yes I know that's not only Cheryl but if she's gaining fans here, wouldn't they want to know about all that too? And yeah it's not terribly hard to catch up or anything but it's just odd, you'd be a fan of this woman who's suddenly famous over here in a country where whatever she's doing with the girl group she's been with for years isn't being televised or talked about etc, that's why I think the break into the US isn't the greatest idea. She can still have US fans obviously (I'm one of them) but it's just silly to have like...half of your career in one place and half in another I just find it odd because she isn't just a solo artist, she's got a whole other part of her career that would be ignored over here

^ i get where youre coming from and i thought the same. GA has been around for 7 years, and if she starts the US now we'd (the americans who don't already know of her) have a lot of catching up to do.
