I liked it. I don't know why they always have to overdo the hair/makeup/wardrobe though-- she's not Rihanna-- why try to be?

What a BAD choice for sexy dance partner-- Derek Hough is as un-sexy as they come.

It's my fave song on the album.. and the vid suited the song quite well. i just think it takes alot to "WOW" me at this point.

It was a dramatic video and they needed to dramatize her wardrobe and hair. I don't see how thats "being" or immitating another artist.

I've watched the video 4 times now and I still think it's awesome. I think it's really authentic and I can't think of any other video or artist it is similar to, off the top of my head. Why she also looks really nice in more natural make up, I think she looks just as gorgeous in dramatic make up, which totally suited the tone of the video in my opinion. I guess it's just personal preference though.

I think it`s her people that are to blame, not Cheryl herself. Regardless, her whole solo project has been mediocrity masked with success.

She needs to get back with GA asap.

The album itself went platinum after just two weeks of coming out and she had the number one single as well as the album on the same week. I don't think that's the definition of "mediocrity." Especially looking at the circumstances (ie. the time frame this solo launch had to be under). Athough, I love her with GA, there's no need to say that she needs to go rushing back to the rest of the girls. She's doing great and this album/solo deal has gone better than most people even expected.

Did you understand what I meant??? The mediocrity is masked with unjust success. She`s sold records because she is Cheryl Cole... not because her solo effort is phenom.

If she was anyone else, she wouldn't have made a blip on the radar.

Definitely. It's hard to surpass the success of your band when you're starting a solo career (ie. Victoria Beckham post-Spice Girls). And eventhough, Cheryl might not have matched GA's success (which is extremely hard to do), but she still did very well in terms of the circumstances.

There are a lot of bands/singers out there whose success I think is "unjust" but whether or not that's actual truth the facts are very clear, Cheryl's done well and whether it's simply her name, GA fans who are following her solo career or gasp, a bit of actual talent mixed with all the rest, it can't be denied that she is doing well. It can be argued, sure, the merits of her success but you can't really begrudge her it because it's just a fact. She's done well on her own and good for her, hopefully Nadine's album does well too and then the Girls will get back together and be ready to make more music together

All that aside, I love the video. The setting was gorgeous, the choreography was wonderful and Cheryl was so pretty
