British singer Cheryl Cole is in talks to land a role in a Disney TV movie, according to a U.K. report.

The Girls Aloud star, who is a judge on Simon Cowell's British talent contest The X Factor, is reportedly holding discussions with Disney producers to appear in a one-off show, similar to 2008's Camp Rock, which starred The Jonas Brothers and Demi Lovato.

And executives are hoping to make Cole the next big Disney star, following in the footsteps of Miley Cyrus and Zac Efron, according to Britain's Daily Mirror.

A source tells the publication, "Cheryl is the full package. She's got it all - brains (and) beauty. It's unbelievable the level of interest she stirred up in the Disney studios following her recent trips to L.A., where she was making her recent music video.

"That Parachute video with (dancer) Derek Hough, who is massive in the States because of Dancing With The Stars, really showed just how graceful and dynamic she can be. From her experiences with Girls Aloud, she can also handle the high energy routines, so the plan is to incorporate her in a show. It's early... but a one-off like Camp Rock would be the way to go."


And Disney star Selena Gomez insists she'd love for the British beauty to be her co-star, gushing, "Oh my goodness, I'd love to work with Cheryl Cole on a Disney show. I've just seen that video Parachute. She is beautiful. I'd love to."

Cheryl and Disney somehow I doubt it. A 27 year old married woman with a previous assault charge and a philandering husband......not exactly Disney material and I don't think she would do it even if they asked her. It wouldn't do her career any good IMO. What would do her career some good right now is a brand new stylist.

I've been pondering a theory lately that all these weird rumors are all stunts to promote her fame in the US. In the Disney article it caught my attention how they kept saying "that video Parachute/ in her new video Parachute" etc. I found that Disney thing on MSN and when she and Ashley first separated there was a little write up about that on MSN too and while people here may know who she is (obviously, I'm one of them) overall she's not known here so I was like, why on earth write about her and Ashley's split on MSN? Ashley's even less known than she is here! I'm just putting 2 and 2 together. I don't search for any of that stuff either I mean it comes up when I go on MSN right on the homepage under Entertainment. And I don't mean Cheryl or her people set it up just like a general media fuel thing.

I agree but is it the UK media? because she isnt known that well for the US media to even talk about her, or ive never heard the US media say anything about her.
