Cheryl Cole

She did mime that song nicely. I give her that.
I thought her last years performance on the X-Factor was so much better though.

''Promise this'' is seriously one of the worst songs I've ever heard  I wanted to watch that perfomance but I fast forward it to avoid listening to it..I think she should immediately change her music team..It's one bad song after another, it's not working :(

I loved her stage performance and the outfit, she nailed it in every way in my opinion. The outfit for the rest of the show was ermmmm... not brilliant however.

shulda put it on mute:lol:

Her performance was great.I'm impressed, she really has improved a lot!
Her stage presence is better, she seemed to be more confident.
Nice outfit too.

She was a lot more confident in this year's performance. All I was thinking was how fierce she looked in the entire performance!

but she had more than three even during the time of the interview. she has one on both thighs, mrs c on the nape of her neck, the cute one on her hand, one on each butt cheek, AND the huge one on her lower back. thats 7 total tats! i saw the butt cheek ones from pics of a GA concert if no one believes me lol

Yes, I count 7 as well.

And she OBVS mimed (as always) on the X-Factor.

'Promise This' is not a good song. To be fair although I'm a fan of Cheryl, I haven't liked any of her music so far. 3 Words wasn't too bad I suppose.
I thought her performance of the song was OK, but at times she looked quite aggressive......maybe this was more to do with the stompy dance moves.
Her stage outfit was slightly better too, apart from the stripey leggings and her hair looked like rats tails......and I'm over the red totally.
TBH the whole look on sundays X Factor looked very much 'For Your Eyes Only' to me. Lapdancerish.

No, she didn't. She pre-recorded a live track to try and fool everyone. She does this all the time for live tv shows.

i agree. i dont think she could pull off singing live and dancing at the same time, like many seasoned artists can.

WOW. So much negativity in the last few pages of this thread haha.

I'm not a huge fan of Cheryl's music (although I do find some of it insanely catchy), but I think her fashion sense and the fact that she isn't afraid to experiment is great- sometimes it doesn't work, but no one can expect her to look 100% perfect all the time and it's a matter of opinion isn't it... Alot of the time I think she looks AMAZING and has such a perfect figure for some of the outfits she wears.

I think she's a lovely person and I can't imagine how she handles having every single aspect of her life so closely scrutinised, she must be very strong.. And give the events of the last year or so, I only have respect for her :flower:

I personally didn't think she mimed during X Factor, it sounded live and there were bits of ad-lib... Essentially we will never know for a fact, despite some of the pretty intense specualtion. She looked great and sounded good in my opinion, so I think she did well

xxxxxxxx

negativity is what comes with the celebs and this forum lol. we discuss both neg and pos things. i am a fan of cheryl, just dont care for her singing and i dont think she sang live. just a page ago we all commented on how great her stage presence was and how her performance exuded confidence. you must have missed those comments.......

Honestly i don't even care if she was miming, it was a great performance.

I would say that about 90% of artists sing with a backing track, especially when they're dancing. It's just to help them keep time and pitch. It's not always about miming.

I am a HUGE fan of Cheryl, and have been since GA formed... no one is being negative, we are simply stating opinions on the good, the bad and the ugly.

Welcome to this thread, btw :) :flower:

This is rediciulous. I don´t care if she sings playback or not.
For me, it was a great performence and i was very entertaiment.
