"Girls Aloud" singer and television presenter is set to hold talks with Simon Cowell on becoming the next big thing in the U.S. As she walked through LAX, Cheryl was all smiles for the cameras but seemed a bit taken back from the wet LA weather. After waiting at the crosswalk in the rain, she then got into her awaiting limousine.

She irritates me. This whole "Our Cheryl" National treasure mentality; our equivalent of Julia Roberts in the 90's. In effect her prominence is the result of sympathy from media outlets and careful manipulation of left-wing press. The "Girl been done wrong to" aspect does nothing to convince me that she is as hearty as she seems, after all, this is the woman who married Ashley Cole to detract from murmurs of racial prejudice - tokenism of what? the best looking (and most affluent) Black Guy on the pitch. She also admitted to punching a toilet attendant in the face; great ettiquette indeed. She is'nt even particularly good-looking; yes, mildly attractive, but nothing to stop and gawk at. Her hybrid of persian-like, sallow skin and hordes of chesnut hair extensions beg the question: what magnitude of beauty is there beneath the veneer of iridescent black-eyeliner, pearly-white smile and inevitable ostentatious display of glamour embodied in frills and dated tones of gold from Julien Mcdonald, Cavalli and co.

Although I respect you're opinion on Cheryl, I have to question some of the points you made.
To say that she married a man of mixed race to detract from rumours of racism is frankly ridiculous and there is no proof of this. During the Popstars the Rivals process she was good friends with the only black girl to make the last 10. I don't condone what she did but toilet attendants of any colour are annoying at the best of times.
She has also definitely not courted sympathy for her husband's dalliances in any way. At the time she kept quiet about it and apart from her Girls Aloud promotional commitments kept out of the public eye to deal with it in her own time. In no TV interviews around this time was it mentioned either.
I also disagree with you on how attractive she is but that is subjective......I think she is extremely beautiful, and quite naturally so.

Me too. I thought that post was so ridiculus especially the racism reason of marrying Ashley and not worth commenting. But...Eccentricity I respect that you don´t find Cheryl beautiful cause the beauty is in the eye of beholder. But imo she´s really natural beauty. There were few pics of her without make-up and she has great skin and she looks really good without make-up. For the hair - in the past she had changed her hairstyles quite often and mostly she had her own hair and not extensions.
