Cheryl Cole

^ That's if they take her there..
I think I'm right in saying, but they never even tried to take Girls Aloud over to the US did they? It could work I suppose, but I don't know if they'll even try really.

The cover was definately shot by Nick Knight, and that shot HMV has up is a Nick Knight shot if ever I saw one, so I think we can say the cover will be some variation on that image, with the text added and stuff. Looks great to me!

And now it's been released she'll be on the cover of November's Elle promoting it, so it could be really big.

I was surprised to see how much she was papped while over in the US, so I think it won't take too much for the right people to get behind her there and make her fairly successful.

I think she was papped by British agencies who were sent over there, though.

Hmm. I'm not sure. Like someone said, Girls Aloud never even tried to break the states because they had such a good thing going over here. Cheryl might stick to that attitude.

I can't see her even trying to break the States if I'm honest. I think it's a very British thing, the like for her I mean. She'd be a bit much of muchness over there interms of the music/look, where at least here they know she'll shift the records and do well.

The L'Oreal contracts only UK based as well isn't it? I think anyway, which would make me think they're not going to try her over there as well..

She's getting more and more popular in North America... it's just trickling now, but if she tried, she could do it.

GA never did, but I think Cheryl coming over here to record, and working with well known AMERICAN artists shows that she is thinking about it. She's still young, so the effort wouldn't be in vain.

I don't like this photo... the styling is just bad.

Oh.
Nice face...

But then what exactly is going on the right? It looks like she's got one gigantic boob thanks to that jacket!

That promotional picture is gorgeous, I love her leather jacket. Thanks for posting!

 It seriously does:shock: But maybe one big one does it for some folks.;)
Hideous styling too.:ninja:

Listen folks IMO the song is passable, but it does not sound like Cheryl.
We can't really kid ourselves that Cheryl is 'great' singer........on Popstars the Rivals she has stated that she did herself no justice with her 'live' singing and since then her voice in concert footage I have seen is at best OK.
They have digitized her voice here ......as they do on GA tracks......only they have altered it to sound completely different in every way.
The proof in the pudding will be seeing her sing it 'live'......if that ever really happens.
I think Cheryl is fantastic and I wish her the best with her solo career. I think the song will do fine as for the full album I'm not so sure.

She has to be performing it live on XFactor at some point, Girls Aloud did The Promise, well, you'd think anyway...right? I agree though, let's not kid ourselves. In the grand scheme of things it's not an amazing voice. But they must expect her to perform it live, so they must think she's able to sing it like that live? Hopefully...maybe? The song really has grown on me, I think it'll do well. Let's hope it gets a good video too.

I like her a lot, but I'm not a fan of these promo shots. Especially not the one gigantic boob shot! One big one does not do it for me. Although, I could be totally biased anyway.. But what's being used as the album cover shot possibly is great I think.

Couldn't have said it better.... agree completely!

It sounds nothing like Cheryl.

I actually quite like the single, it's weak for a debut track though however I have no doubt it will be a success, like everything else she touches it will definitely turn to gold.
