Meh. That's just not my style, it sounds too Mariah Carey-ish (not the singing, the music). And I am not a Mariah fan lol. I like faster songs better for Cheryl

ok. i love cheryl but i agree that she's made it this far because of her looks (and high profile marriage). and if anyone disagrees i encourage you to go back to cheryls first audition for popstar rivals 2002, where louis walsh, and the other male judge, gushed all over her physical appearance and didnt give one critique, or even seem to care, about her vocal abilities (which was very weak and mediocre at the time). and i dont blame the girl for this. she has taken advantage of the great opportunity that was presented to her, even if she knew her singing sucked and the choice was based on her outer beauty. i believe that any of us would do the same. that being said, im not a fan of her singing/music. i didnt like the song or video of "promise this", yet the video is better than the song, imho (if that makes any sense). but i still like her, as she seems to be a simple down to earth girl. so im not going to kid myself here; im simply attracted to her beauty and "personality". her music and singing, to me, is pure garbage.

Cheryl Cole will return to The X Factor with a new set of raunchy outfits, according to reports.
The Sun claims that the ‘Promise This’ singer, who missed the latter part of the talent show’s auditions due to illness, is keen to compete with guest judge Nicole Scherzinger.
“Cheryl is refusing to be outwitted or out-titted,” said a source. “Cheryl will have more edge, more wit and quite a lot more cleavage than ever.
“She is going to be pulling out all the stops in the coming weeks now she’s back to her best following her battle with malaria.”
The X Factor continues this Saturday from 7.30pm on ITV1.

It was confirmed today that Cheryl will feature in an episode of Piers Morgan's Life Stories series. It'll air after a Live Final on December 11th. And he doesn't really hold any punches in his questioning, so I'm guessing we'll get answers on her and Derek, Ashley... all sorts.

Not that I'm hugely interested in those aspects of her life, but it'll be nice to have an hour long interview with her at least.

Well, it looks like Cheryl will be making a move to the US next year. Piers Morgan has let slip in an interview that the two female judges on X Factor America are Nicole Scherzinger, and Cheryl.

The rumours been around for a while, but looks like it's going to turn out to be true. USA here she comes..
