Those aren't promo shots for the show, they're quite old. They accompanied an article in The Guardian magazine I think it was about a year ago now.

Fresh off of word that she's officially headed to the States for the US version of "X Factor," Cheryl Cole was spotted catching a flight out of Heathrow Airport in London on Friday (May 6).

The brunette beauty hugged and kissed a few friends as she worked into the metro terminal while prepping to catch an outbound international flight.

As for her her decision to switch from the UK "X Factor" to the stateside version, ITV recently addressed the Girls Aloud star's departure, stating: "It's with a pride-filled lump in our throat that today we announce Cheryl Cole's departure from the UK version of The X Factor."

The ITV statement continued: “Talent-spotter, style icon, national treasure... Good luck and thanks for the good times Chezza, you always ‘absolutely smashed it!’”
