Making her return to the States, Cheryl Cole
was spotted arriving at LAX International Airport in Los Angeles, California last night (July 7).

Joined by her Girls Aloud bandmate Kimberley Walsh, Cheryl put on a brave smile as she strolled through the terminal, surrounded by shutterbugs.

Cheryl is back in the USA to fulfill her obligations with FOX for the American version of “The X Factor,” despite the fact that she was booted from the judges’ panel earlier this year.

And she may even show up on the program later in the season. An insider told press, “There is a long-standing plan in place for Cheryl to return to the show in time for the live finals. There is a fifth guest judging role there – and Simon Cowell would love for her to take it.”
