I like the front if her dress. I'd like to see the back too since I see mesh on her sides. Not to fond of the hair but it's something different for her. If she had her dark locks and a side swept ponytail or bun, I think it would have looked better with that dress. I also don't like the material if her shoes. What is it? A velvety/suede material? I think patent nude heels would have been better. I like the earrings, but again, too heavy on the make up. She has rich dark features so less makeup would be better for her IMO. She's still gorgeous no matter what though!

This was a disaster, she looks like something out of Mars Attacks/Alien + the dress looks cheap on her because of the OTT tan etc.

There's a photo of her and bandmate Nicola Roberts, and Nicola showed how to dress well and still make an impact.

I'm not hating on Cheryl before anyone attacks, I simply don't like her style at this current time..

Well, if any of you US residents don't know by now, the XFactor premiers tomorow at 8pm ET. I just found out. Frankly, I hate these talent/singing shows; I watched them years ago but now its overdone to me. Anyway I'll set my DVR on record just too see if Cheryls on, cause if I don't, I know I'll forget and miss it LOL. It'll be her first appearance on US television haha.

Apparently she was on the show, and they made it seem like she was filling in for Scherzinger just for that one audition. RUDE.

I don't think that's the case at all actually. Most of the reviews said she just suddenly isn't there half way through and Nicole's in the seat. There's no mention other than to say "A new city brings a new judge".

She got really good reviews for it though, they've been really great for her. My favourite was one where they said they saw no reason to get rid of Cheryl and that Nicole was nothing more than a 'seat warmer' judge. CherylColeRocks was also trending worldwide on Twitter last night according to Piers Morgan.

Cheryl didn't seem bewildered to me last night, although she was much more quiet than on the UK show. She even started kind of quiet when she first started the UK show, but got more comfortable as time went on. If she was allowed more time on the show I think she would have been more outgoing. I thought she looked so happy, glowing, and was very warm. On the other hand, I do have to say that she was quite "unforgettable" an LA Reid stood out to me as much more prominent judge. The show is about the contestants anyway though. At least CC got her name and face on US TV; who knows where it'll go from there, but I'm interested to see

I decided not to watch tonights show since Chery is gone. I thought CC did the Chicago auditions too? Will they not show her for that? I guess they won't show a wide shot of the panel in order to edit her?

I wonder how the XFactor ratings are, BTW. 'Bout to hit up GoogleB)

They weren't spectacular, Simon can't be too happy. When it launches here in the UK it's the biggest thing by miles, no-one else stands a chance, but in the US the show was beaten in the ratings by two others - Criminal Minds and Modern Family.

I think she's so cute with the messy hair and bow. I would have not went with a heeled boot to walk in NYC, I think maybe a pair of flat military boots would have looked better.
