mmm... i didn't really like the commercial . Maybe it was because i was taken aback about how "thick" her Gordie accent was, i can't really put my finger on it . But i thought she looked great in it especially her hair.

I've seen Evangeline Lilly's commercial for the same product (Elvive Full Restore 5 shampoo) and i preferred hers over Cheryl's.

I love the advert and I'm quite glad they didn't try and tone down her accent, would have been a big insult to Geordies. Anyway, I'm Southern as they come and I can understand her perfectly.

I don't really think it's hard to understand at all. I'm a Geordie too, and no-one ever really has much of a problem understanding the accent, it's more that they don't get certain words used which seem to be more Northern...

I'm really not glad they lessened her accent, I'm English and in my opinion I think the Geordie accent is easy to understand (especially compared to other English accents) and it's a gorgeous accent in general to be honest.
