Cheryl's Upcoming Schedule:
X Factor judge Cheryl Cole is said to be ‘undecided’ on a return to the show later this year, according to reports. The Girls Aloud singer and solo star is already hard at work promoting her album 3 words across Europe, with plans to crack the US and to get back with Girls Aloud for a sixth album, will there be time for The X Factor?
Clearly Cheryl hasn’t given up on The X Factor altogether – she’ll be making a guest appearance on the first series of the German version which starts later this month. After that she’ll be performing on German entertainment show Wetten, dass..?, which has seen the likes of Michael Jackson and Leona Lewis. It’s then a trip to Munich where the Fight For This Love singer will perform at the Digital, Life, Design conference, where Lady GaGa sung last year.
It’s not just Germany the Geordie judge is looking to conquer, Cheryl’s label has lined up appearances at the NRJ Music Awards in France as well as performances in Spain and Italy.
Cole is also reportedly preparing for a crack at the US, with help from some big names including Rihanna and Jay-Z who have expressed interest in the reality TV winner recently.
However fans of the star will be happy to hear Cheryl is likely to back in the UK in February for The Brit Awards, where Girls Aloud have been nominated and Cheryl herself is tipped to pick up the award for Best British Single.
On top of all that Girls Aloud are expected to return to the studio to record their sixth album, due out in late autumn.
But where does this leave The X Factor 2010? According to sources Cheryl isn’t sure on a return: “She loves the show but her solo career comes first and if schedules collide then she may not return,” an insider tells The Mirror
“She wants to spend time in America too – and may commute between X Factor auditions to make it work out there.”
So with rumours that Dannii has quit and Cheryl isn’t sure about returning, could we be seeing a completely different line up next year?
