she's not going to do Sanremo anymore. its a little unclear why. some have
said cuz of the pay. Francy says she has a lil interview of Chiara and she

I WANTED TO BE THE SANREMO GIRL

Paolo Bonolis said about her "she wanted too much money", but she replies: It's Rai (italian channel) that has budget problems. And few fair play.

"It could end in a better way. They could make a telephone call and explain everything", Chiara Baschetti says, 21 year-old italian model, and missed girl of Sanremo 2009 - for the second time: first time was in 2005 and the problem was that she wasn't 18.
The story of 2009: Chiara was contacted by Rai before Chistmas, they started to organize, they met in Rome and a talk about money ("absolutely as high as my cachet for fashion jobs", she says). Rai doesn't want to pay that money. When the affair is still not closed, Paolo Bonolis announces directly to the press that the model won't be at Sanremo theatre.
"I was kind of shocked: it was clear that things weren't going well, and I by myself was trying to find a nice formula to say at press everything.
Rai solved everything saying that i wanted too much money. But things are not this way".

Do you think they punish you because you said you don't watch Sanremo show?
"Well, i hope not: i'm 20 and i travel very much, it's clear that i can't watch every edition of the Festival".

But it could be a great launch in the Biz..
"Sure, but i am a model. Working in television is not one of my priorities. If I'd like so much to work in Tv, i'd have accepted to join the show at every money pay. But for now it's fashion my world".

What do you think of this story?
"I think they wanted to pay very much some characters and less others.. i was in the second cathegory".

Will you watch the Festival?
"I'm leaving now: South Africa and then Miami. i don't know if i have time.."

it seems that it is all clear now. So they were willing to pay other's more than her? and
they weren't going to pay her, her normal salary for modeling? aww....
Well since she answered that she does not want to go into TV/or commercial then i guess
it was wise for her not to be there. (i mean i would have done it, but....)

i really dont understand how it wasn't about money....cuz obviously they didn't pay her
enough? right? so im glad she just said that money wasn't the case.
