Chicago shopping

No its more stores than that. I know for a fact is like 3-4 in the US. its like 2 in NYC and one on Melrose place. I just wish there was on in Chicago :D Oh BTW there is also one in boston, i just remembered so is 4 for the US. Barney's sells his clothes, but there are no flagship stores in chicago :(

No, no, no. ^_^ I guess I phrased that wrong. I know there's more than just that one in France, but I was just pointing out that there aren't many MJ stores to begin with. A few labels have even multiple stores in Paris alone. I'd bet that Chicago will get one within a few years though.

Oh, and the Barney's doorman was there for me! I feel so special.

Oh ok I gotcha now....no fair i had to open that big door all by myself  haha its kinda odd i dunno...does he stand on the inside or outside? i remember a guy on the inside right by the door but he just looked at me...haha also i do hope Chicago gets a MJ :D

Ok I just went to the site, here is the actual breakdown: 3 in NYC, 5 in California, 1 in Boston, 1 in Flordia, and 1 in Las Vegas... TOTAL: 11 Marc Jacob stores in the U.S. alone. Thats a lot of boutiques....lol

does anyone know any good vintage and thrift shops?

There is a store up north called Flashy Trash. They sell really old vinatage designer clothing: versace...etc...i dont really know anything else though :( Im more into the newer stores and stuff

Some ppl have been telling me that there are outlets. I didnt really understand, but someone said that there was a prada outlet up north. Does anyone else know if there are more outlets and can some1 also explain the concept of an outlet? Is the stuff there fake?

not fake, that would be illegal and the store wouldnt exist. outlets is merchandise from past seasons that didn't sell also some outlets have clothes which are specifically given to them only because there might be a defect. sometimes when you buy clothes youll find an inspection paper, someone inspects the clothes right after its made and if that person decides theres something wrong with it, itll be a reject and sent to an outlet.

Oh ok now i get it, ok do designers have outlets especially for their clothes? Like someone told me there was a Prada outlet in Chicago, but i would expect it just to be a normal store that sells many designers

^Each designer has their own outlet store. Maybe you're thinking of an outlet mall.

hmmm....Im not sure. I know that there are outlet malls around here, but someone specifically mentioned a Prada outlet in Chicago...is there a way i can find out about all outlets from designers? Do they post the addresses online?

I dont think theres a prada outlet in chicago, if you like prada why dont you hit up the prada boutique on oak street when the sales start, i dont think many people buy anything from there, youll probably have a good assortment to choose from since you seem like youd be a larger size. sometimes you can get a better deal on stuff on sale rather then going to a specific designers outlet store.

Oh yea I know about the one in Aurora...i went past it when I was on my way to my sisters house. I saw some Tommy Hilfiger, Theory, and DKNY I think. I doubt Prada fits me lol the bigger sizes goes first, plus its an Italian cut. Im too big lol...but thx ne wayz

^ then why are you trying to find a prada outlet if it doesnt fit you in the first place? and ive never heard of the biggest sizes in prada selling out first, that is totally unheard of.
