Chloé F/W 2016.17 : Ellen de Weer, Frederikke Sofie, & Michi Kat by Theo Wenner

EDIT: 'C-List' brand by a 'C-List' photographer, spot on, if you ask me!

THIS.

Pretty sad when Zara has campaigns that are less corny than Chloe.

Man, print fashion is really and truly DEAD.

There's Retro Inspired and then there's just Retro, this one is far too literal. The big glasses, the bowl cut, and the grainy photography is overkill. The 70's redux has had it's moment. Hedi's departure from Saint Laurent shut the lid on that trend. This isn't modern, and it's certainly not cool. Gucci actually looks of this time whereas this just looks stale and old. I haven't been impressed by Clare since she started here at Chloe. She's had one or two it bags and maybe a few covetable dresses from last season but what else has she contributed to the fashion conversation?

It's funny because now Zara is a better version of Chloé than Chloé itself.

Honestly I kind of miss those days when an image of a girl running down a wheat field with her hair obscuring her face would surface and everybody would be trying to guess who was casted that time around...This isn't bad but you can't just expect to add some watered down Gucci-vibes to your run of the mill campaign and expect it to look totally fresh.
