Chloé S/S 2025 Paris

Very millennial, the jelly shoes, bubble hem dresses and graffitid wedges. An elevated version of what teenagers were actually wearing in 2003, replete with h&m lighting and flamingo swimsuits (not the paris hilton low slung hackneyed fantasy gen z imagines- real ones know Nicole was the genuine icon of that era)

It’s fresh compared to the heaviness we’ve seen from other designers for S/S.

Also hello I am new here :flower:

Seeing this makes me miss Hannah MacGibbon’s Chloe, or maybe it’s just my age (no longer in my twenties). This collection feels very twenty-something and I feel like I could see something similar in Zara or & Other Stories 3 weeks later...

Saccharine. I see where she's going but it's far too girly in "that" kind of way. So many of the shorts and shorts adjacent things look like diapers too. Makes what is a childish looking collection even more so.

Loathe the colours. The way they're mixed just seems frumpy. I suppose wedges on them all would work to help lift things up but I don't enjoy this at all.
