Chloé S/S 2026 Paris

Ugh, it's not a good show... it's extremely repetitive and odd in the context of what's been done by Chemena at the brand. I actually had to double check which show I'm watching. This change is just too drastic and yet, it's not convincing enough. If anything, it looks like a deranged answer to the Hannah MacGibbon's debut from 2008 mixed with Ghesquiere's take on the '80s. Even the bags don't hit the right note this time... very weird.

I didn't expect anything like this. I am quite surprised. It's technically very well done, but it's a complete departure from the aesthetic of her first two shows. It's too saccharine. At times it felt like a strange mix of Olivier's Balmain and Zimmerman.

Same! When I saw first looks, I thought I am watching Zimmermann shows. Her weakest offering so far... They also changed casting director from Ashley to Piergiorgio.

So not my cup of tea but I like that she's expanding so that she doesn't get confined inside the whites/airy/lacey box. It's kind of some in-between collection, even the presentation feels cold and like a transition. I don't know. I will say.. great casting, and Gracie, girl, share your haircare routine 🥲.. same for Chemena. If Chloé were to come up with a line of hair products, I'd be first in line lol.

First part was bad, second was much better!

Same with the casting in first part I was like whoo???!!!

But at the end we had The Great JULIA STEGNER, Eniko Mihalik, Jessica Miller and Awar! For me enough. ❤️

But the bags were NOT good this season!

Wow, what a diabolical collection. It started off terribly — those horrid prints looked like fabric torn straight from her grandma’s curtains. Once the printed flower section finally passed, things started to improve, and it just kept getting better from there.
In the end, I think she’s a great fit for Chloé. Aside from the clothes, everything about the show — the music, set, and casting — was on brand and beautifully executed. But that first part really deserves to be erased from everyone’s memory to prevent any lasting trauma.

I liked this change, a shift from the 70’s to the 80’s that was anticipated by the precollection! And I also appreciated that there was a sequence, of colors and silouhettes and not, as is most common now, one of this then one of that than another one of that. My only perplexity was with the casting. The first part was terrible, juvenile and cheap, then the flowers stopped and came all the tops and the typical Chloe girls, as the show was divided in two to target two different audiences.

This is Ungaro -Lohan era bad OMG , wtf is this , the Golden Girls Miami palette meets 80s street hooker

Okk, Chemena is moving on (for the most part) from the saccharine laciness, cheers to that! It's obviously still quite girly, but more concise and leaning slightly into '80s vamp dressing rather than '70s boxo luxe, which is a good thing considering she milked that era from her debut on and now left brands from Etro to Balmain to offer it for next spring.
Can't say I'm obsessed with her flower prints, even though their colors together with those rounded-shoulder looks remind me a bit of Ghesquière's S/S 2008 Balenciaga collection. The powder-hued section was more like it imo, even though the large trenchcoats didn't really work with everything underneath - or even on their own sometimes; the pale blue one that made the model look as if she was stuck in a small iceberg with bluish lilac lips to boot was probably the worst look of the collection.
What I liked the best was the vibe of a convenient little summer in France certain elements of the show conveyed: the très Vogue Paris appearance of beauties like Enikő Mihalik and Bette Franke, the comparably pared-back styling, the pretty earrings and chic kitten heels most of the models wore (thankfully no wedges or "summer boots" this time) and the sight of a beautiful girl in a sexy cut-out tank top/swimsuit? and a lightly draped skirt. I'd build on that, rather than trying to push extra wide shoulders and multi-tiered dresses.

Allegedly they're not selling well, so I guess they challenged her to come up with something different but that's not it... I too, had to double check what designer I was looking it.

Oh I enjoyed it. It's not like the previous collections, but I still find that I like it and the feeling. Nice !

Kudos to her for moving on!
I don’t hate it but it’s just a very difficult collection. Very directional, focused and she is moving slightly the perception of the brand, which will allow her to do more than boho…!

But most of this is quite unflattering. I like the look with the brown pant and the yellow sweater though and I think those clothes will look incredible in photos…

But maybe for the commercial success to happen, she will have to present more easy to replicate looks in the world of Chloe. In that way, the Celine approach is clever for that.

But Richemont needs to stick with her. Her Chloe is strong. And all the other stuff is good. Chloe just have to be about something else than boho for women to embrace it. And that was the success of Phoebe’s time.
