I was somewhat disengaged looking at this collection? I think the floral dresses somewhat lost me. They looked so unlike the so far core looks that I thought I was watching a bad Ungaro show for a second. Definitely not the level of her debut collection.

What was interesting - some looks gave LV by NG vibes?

But it's not the worst of all seasons. Maybe it's also the fact that I am just a sad white gay man? 😀 😀

She gets a gold star for not taking the easy way out but this is rather ugly. Some of the proportions are jarring. The parachute dresses are absolutely hideous, and the shoulders are just so dated.

It reminds me a bit of Valli's SS2024 couture collection. Lots of fabric, lots of volume, but has almost nothing to say with all of it.

Kudos for the sharp take on the new direction but I don't think it's really working.

I think it's a bold move from her. I also think all the designers who just started are under presure - so many new big debuts. They can easily be overlooked. So it's obvious she went more bold with it! But I'm not sure how their clients in stores will react on this colorful proposition.

I don't know why but I'm obsessed with that horrific lip color. It's teetering on camp. Rick Owens did something like that a long time ago too and it still resonates. It's like the Nicki Minaj Pink Friday MAC lipstick. Historical continuity. Very deeply expressive. Very based.
