True, but I actually got 15% off from Neiman Marcus (birthday discount) and with shipping it comes out better than purchasing in UK since I wouold have to pay more expensive shipping + duties. But I am glad everyone gets a deal on these shoes either way!

stylishmoi, I think the tops are ok, but the heel is horrid (IMO), just looks like every other pair from faith etc, a little bit old fashioned.... but if they are reasonably priced and you like them, then go for it

My black tie front platforms came this morning. They are absolutely gorgeous. I am so much more pleased with them than I expected to be, the leather is buttery soft and completely devine. I ordered the 38 and if anything they are a little large (I am usually 37.5 - 38), so anybody contemplating buying them, I would say they are very true to size. The way they are worn on the runway is with this years very wide babydoll dresses, and I found this fab one today (last years miu miu, but very this year shape) that I think will work really well with the black, what do you think (hard to see, but it has jet black large beads around the bust line)

My summer wardrobe is coming together quite nicely

good to know about the sizing chloe-babe. i am the same size as you too, 37.5 so i am guessing that i will need to stick in inserts for the pumps to make the fitting better. i ordered a 37 as well just in case, but my guess is that these will be too short in length for me.

yep, I thought about ordering the 37, but I didnt want too much toe cleavage!! as they are fairly short at the front, I have been happily wandering around the house in mine, and they are fine actually now as you can tie them quite tight
