Chris Hemsworth, Channing Tatum, and Joe Manganiello suit up for the IWC Flagship Boutique New York City Grand Opening on Wednesday (April 25) in New York City.
Chris Hemsworth flashes a smile as he arrives at a taping for the Late Show with David Letterman on Thursday (April 26) in New York City.
The 28-year-old actor went on the program to promote his upcoming flick The Avengers.
“It’s great, because with each movie’s success, it’s like we’re still on track,” Chris recently told USA Today about each individual Marvel flick doing well at the box office, and how that ultimately helped The Avengers get made into a movie.
Be sure to catch The Avengers when it hits theaters on May 4.
FYI: Chris is wearing the “Brad” leather jacket and “Academy” booth both by Superdry USA.
nextmovie.comChris Hemsworth will soon be putting down the hammer (just for a little while, though) as he's been recruited for the military thriller, "Shadow Runners," according to Deadline.
"Shadow Runners" follows a former Navy SEAL who tries to repair a rift with an old comrade in arms as he leads a team of elite international operatives on a mission against a mysterious enemy.
Chris Cantwell and Chris Rogers have been hired to write the screenplay, which is based on a pitch by "Drive" scribe Hossein Amini that was inspired by an incident in which a group of Israeli operatives infiltrated a Dubai hotel to kill a Hamas leader … only to see the rendezvous captured on surveillance cameras.
No start date has been announced on the project, though it will have to be juggled with Hemsworth's commitment to the "Thor" sequel, which will be directed by "Game of Thrones" director Alan Taylor and is set to hit theaters on Nov. 15, 2013.
Chris Hemsworth, who's currently shooting Ron Howard's "Rush," has officially claimed 2012 as his own as he can currently be seen in theaters in both "The Cabin in the Woods" and "The Avengers" and has "Snow White and the Huntsman" opening on June 1. Oh, and bonus: the oft-delayed "Red Dawn" will finally hit theaters on Nov. 21, just in time to ruin Thanksgiving with an invasion from North Korea (yeah, you knew it wasn't Russians this time, right?).
