Christian Dior Pre-Fall 2018

Chanel Paris in Rome collection mixed with a touch of Hedi and MGC usual boring stuff.
She has the most depressing use of black ever. Her clothes are really not ambitious enough.
Seeing this is very disturbing considering that she says that her daughter is her muse. Is there really a young woman that want to dress like that?

^No, I don't think so. It seems like this is her own closet. Very matronly, yikes. :ninja:

She is the first person who came to mind. I bet she thinks "I would wear everything here." I is just a very boring and lazy collection. Even Raf's pre-fall, while it wasn't perfect or most innovative, was yet ambitious. What is most annoying about her is that she has the entire Dior team but the level of craftmanship is very basic couture level. The embroidered sheer dresses need to go.

Could this be any more dull! Very uninspired, bland and downright lazy. I hope she's out sooner rather than later. A very painful chapter in Dior's history. I dare say even the transition team were more interesting despite many of their ideas being underdeveloped and falling flat; at least they still had more courage.

I might be the only one here but i adore this collection. Everything is so classy and elegant, i think it's perfect for a pre fall collection. I love the silhouettes and the evening gowns are so beautiful. This might be one of my favorites collections of her at Dior.

i don't understand this. there' *no* bigger fan of austere fashion than me, but this isn't even austerity... it's just dull and boring. Some looks could work in a different presentation but even at that they'd just be uninteresting as hell.

Is she intentionally trying to ensure that her contract doesn't get renewed?

i just came up with this, listen, "even the background is more interesting than the clothes", see, i am so funny

It looks very outdated. There is nothing new, and not just for Dior. It's all old clothes that have been restyled and refinished. There's nothing wrong with that, it's just not appropriate for house as legendary and expensive as Dior. You'll get more bang for your buck with Chanel and Valentino.

She's actually doing the opposite lol. She's doing the most commercial, money in the bank-clothes possible to please the suits. And i'm sure it's working, Dior is selling again and having a trickle down effect on the industry (Zara/H&M/etc are copying it), so I reckon we'll be stuck with her for some time.
