Christian Dior Pre-Fall 2025 Kyoto

The location seems better than Chanel's last Metiers d'art, but I am tired of those cliches when the references and inspiration behind those collections are minimal.

It's literally the same as always and I swear she did something identical at Valentino for a Pre-Fall collection in 2016. This woman is completely out of ideas, and yet she insists on staying in the fashion industry and churning out the same thing over and over again ad infinitum. It's literally exhausting. And why?

I can't wait to see Jonathan breathe some life into Dior. Because even with a beautiful location like Kyoto and all the production value that went into this show, this collection feels rather depressing. Boring clothes are boring clothes no matter how much PR spin you put on them...

It’s very underproduced. Where are the ideas? It’s such a hollow way to be inspired by one of the most textural and deep places, especially when it comes to craft.
LVs Kyoto show at miho museum was so much better than this lookbook stuff

From a pure clothing standpoint, I actually love a lot of what I’m seeing here.
The cut of those pants, the coats and all…
Very obvious and simple but it’s the stuff I love. Even the platform sandals.

MGC is very one dimensional but at least her obvious commercialism makes it for pragmatic propositions.

The collection will hit the stores in June. And for the first time in a long long time, I’ll go to the Dior store to look at things possibly for me.

I can’t wait for her to leave though.
Next month ROME!

What an amazing beautiful location. 1930s Asia nice colors very moody her last five shows have been Moody like this. These are all her codes she sells well this is what she knows how to do she knows how to bring in money.
It seems like a Asian burial which I like, but I think people are ready for some new blood and some hardcore fashion new ideas. This show was much better than her last fall show this should have been her last fall show.
