Christian Dior S/S 2009 : Gisele Bundchen by Craig McDean

:ermm:they've done that background and pose a million times before. why Dior has to be the most boring&commercial of the high-fashion houses with their ads?

I like it, reminds me of gisele's dior's ad from the early 2000... love that she looks a bit ******, like any supermodel from the 90's do sometimes... and the hair is a little too madonna, but it kind of works

Don't like Dior+Gisele combo.I wish it would be better with some other model.

Not liking the dress, the hairdo, the model.....But it works as an ad!

And I do want to see more.May be in the croc jacket?

i prefer this tolast season but i think they should've used the hair from the show and shoot it in some outdoor space, maybe a desertical place or something...

Dior ads used to be fresh, vibrant, and always one of the ones to look forward to, even with Gisele as their model. What happened, John?!

I really like it, I hate the style that has been done lately with Stam and Daria really, so this looks cute more like the old Dior to me!

I don´t have anything againts the hairdo on Gisele, maybe it is just me but she looks a little kate moss-ish, but as you say, why to make the collection even more accesible trough simple styling, there was such little drama on the catwalk to begin with that this is simply not enaugh for fashionistas.

Although comercially speaking it is more likely to catch women´s attention alluring them with a simpler image like this, they now don´t need to be a fertility goddess to carry the Dior summer 09 look, they only need to be similar to Gisele..., which isn´t at the end a sort of modern fertility goddess anyway?...

that's what i was thinking. it's funny how grand houses like Dior have to appeal to masses (instead of fascinate fashionistas) therefore we get the myth Dior has to be understandable and aesthetically acceptable. which doesn't necessary means it has to look blank and dated (yet it does). with too much money running in Dior's veins it's clear they can't take any risk. but is it fashion then? the 'play safe' motto killed it all.

the hair, the pose, it's terrible !
Gisele has a stunning body and its the only good thing about this ad, it looks so cheap overall.

Love Gisele, i think this ad is ok, hope the rest will be better n better

i really don't like this...
and from the looks of it already i think this will probably be one of the worse campaigns of the seasons..along with Versace ^_^
