Women have been clamouring to discover the secret behind Christie Brinkley’s youthful complexion for years.

So it will come as a relief for many to discover that the 57-year-old has found a way to bottle her age-defying formula.

The former model, currently starring as Roxie Hart in the West End production of Chicago, is launching her own skincare range with the help of former L’Oreal chief executive Jim Morrison.

‘We’re going to build the company rapidly,’ Christie told me at the Cartier International Polo Day.

‘I’ve had many years in the beauty industry and I’ve worked with all the top make-up artists, so I’ll be using the tips I’ve learnt along the way.’

Legendary model Christie Brinkley has been handed a tax bill for over half a million dollars by the US government.

The 57-year-old, who was famously the subject of then husband Billy Joel's classic tune Uptown Girl, is said to owe $531,720.

According to the Detroit News, the bill was filed by the IRS in Suffolk County, New York on November 21.

This shouldn't be a problem for the eternally youthful Cover Girl, who has accumulated a small fortune over the years.

In 2008, her financial holdings were worth an estimated $80 million, primarily as the owner of real estate, much of it in the Hamptons.

The privileged enclave beloved of New Yorkers is in the far end of Suffolk County in Long Island, where the bill was lodged.

Brinkley has numerous lucrative projects in the pipeline.
