Fresh off of her divorce news, Christina Aguilera was spotted out with son Max Liron in New York City on Thursday afternoon (October 14).

Wearing a brimmed hat and shades, the newly single "Burlesque" actress toted her boy in her arms - looking in fine spirits as she even offered up a wave to following paparazzi while popping into a costume shop ahead of the Halloween holiday.

From there, the 29-year-old singer/actress took her 2-year-old boy to the local pumpkin patch to find the perfect Halloween pumpkin and play on the slides.

As previously reported by GossipCenter, Miss Aguilera has just filed her divorce paperwork to end a five year marriage to Jordan Bratman.

Citing "irreconcilable differences" as the reasoning, Christina is seeking joint physical and legal custody, as she previously told People, "Although Jordan and I are separated, our commitment to our son Max remains as strong as ever."
