Christopher Kane S/S 2014 London

Some really outstanding concepts and as per usual, so well executed from Kane. And not only are the ideas fabulous, there are some truly gorgeous pieces. That white slip dress on Maria Bradley is so breathtaking. The textbook flower diagram pieces are so amazing - those are the kind of pieces you'd really like to see in person. That's such a compliment. The nude/khaki looks are so amazing - that particular look with the blazer tied up in straps with the ankle length pleated skirt - WOW that is so gorgeous.

He really stays so true to himself, it's amazing. I love him for it. You can look at this collection and see that this is clearly the same designer who we all fell in love with 7 years ago. He's matured, and he's grown, but he hasn't sold out and you can tell he's still excited by what he's doing.

It's true, though - the collection could use some editing - and not because any of the ideas are poor, it's just that sometimes there was too many looks per idea. Honestly, it was only really the tear-drop cutout section at the beginning that started to get tired after the first several looks.

The teardrop section is juvenile and a bit empty, like a bad costume. The rest of the collection is hit and miss. Some looks are sublime, others are messy and scrappy, or just disjointed and awkward. Not a bad collection, certainly better executed than last season, but still not much clothes to actually wear. I'll be surprised of Kering's investment pays out in the end.

Hate the teardrop cutouts. Why'd he think it's a good idea to put one over the crotch in that skirt??

C Kane rarely falters to me, and this collection was another solid outing from him. I don't really like the 'Flower'/print heavy pieces towards the end, but love the simpler black and cream fluid dresses in the middle section, beautiful!

The funny thing is even though I see elements from other collections (hate to do this but, Miu Miu S/S 2011 straps, Proenza black and white prints from F/W 2013 and Celine S/S 2013 silhouettes in one or two white dresses) he remixes it all and makes it truly his own work!

I'm still not quite sure about those sweatshirt pieces... but overall this collection is gorgeous! What a wonderful color palette. ^_^

That was quite beautiful to me, I loved the use of colors and his use of Biology and how he explained photosynthesis and I thought it was neat to see this rather than floral prints which would not have been groundbreaking at all. ONE of my favorite yet imo.

Resort was amazing, this is pretty hit or miss but i like the majority of the looks. It's always refreshing to see his shows among the absolute bore that recent seasons have been

There is something for everyone. Urban chic, although there are pieces that made this collection weaker and they were quite unnecessary. Two looks less could have made this collection much better.

that frothy water-colour-esque effect is divine...

as a whole i didn't care much for the first section but it progressively got better and better as it went on....a lot toward the end started giving me memories of the french duo alexandre matthieu....very similar sense of elegance with the cheeky and whimsical overtones....

Amazing! Not every look appealed to me personally, but every look was definitely a work of art. I think he found the perfect balance of how far one can go before it's too much.

I'm in love with the suit in post #7 on the bottom left; I would love to own it. It's my favourite look from S/S 14 so far, and the collection is by far my favourite this season thus far.

Holly sh** this is amazing. They have everything to be the best show.

I'd go without the 'lil too obvious FLOWER written over some pieces, but on a whole really nice and I like colors, the silhouette is also fluid and the casting is cool...
