Cindy Crawford Says Her Modeling Days Are Over
After three decades in the business,
Cindy Crawford, perhaps the super-est supermodel of the 1990s heyday of the supermodel, says she is considering retiring from the modeling business. Someone who
works for Us Weekly was on a United flight recently, and read an interview in that airline’s in-flight magazine,
Rhapsody, in which Crawford says, “I've done it. I've worked with all these incredible photographers. What else do I need to do? I can't keep reinventing myself. I shouldn't have to keep proving myself. I don't want to.” Which is fair. She shouldn’t have to keep proving herself, not after all she’s accomplished. But don’t worry, she’s not disappearing immediately. “I'm sure I'll have my picture taken for 10 more years,” Crawford tells
Rhapsody, which is a demanding extra-curricular activity for pilots, baggage handlers, and flight attendants. “But not as a model anymore.”

Whaaa...? What's this coming from, anyone know? She's been working pretty steadily lately! (FWIW, they're not the only ones reporting this.)
