She was not the most versatile model, but she was pretty much the best at what she did. The legendary supermodel of all times. She was the original celebrity-model of those years, and later. I think Gisele has tried very hard to model her career after hers: dating actors, doing both commercial and high fashion modeling, and never ever changing the hairstyle that made them famous.

Oh, and the obvious sexy edge they are both known for.

haha true. I would say Cindy is and probably still is the most famous Supermodel of all time. smart, smart, business woman she is! Gisele is probably the most famous modern Supermodel. Sometimes I don't even think Gisele is as famous as Cindy was in her prime, and that says alot! but it was truly different times, when supermodels ruled over celebs. oh how i miss those days!

and you are right, the hair, oh the hair. Cindy's hair was just as famous as she was, lol

The most iconic women are the ones who never change their hairstyles that make them famous: Garbo, Monroe, Hayworth, Bardot, Sharon Stone, Claudia, Cindy, Gisele... it is kind of weird actually.
