(NEW YORK) The Daily sends air-kisses and carb-free cake to Sagittarius Cintia Dicker, who turns 19-years-old today. To celebrate, here's an exclusive moment with the newest face of L’Oreal, who traded her runway duds for black Converse sneakers and a Plenty by Tracy Reese coat. Of course, she still looked incredible, but you know, that’s her job.
Happy Birthday! What are you doing to celebrate?
“I’m going out to dinner with my roommate, Caroline Trentini, and a bunch of other friends. Then we’re going to AER to dance—I love to dance—for the rest of the night. Then I’m going to California.”
Why California?
“I don’t know. I have work out there. I never really know what I’m shooting until that day when I get a fax. But my agency [Marilyn] told me I’m doing a shoot out there, so I’m leaving!”
You’re from Brazil; are you more or less famous there than in the States?
“I don’t know. You think I’m famous? I am on TV in Brazil a lot more. I have a sister—she’s seven, so cute—and she sees me on television at home and gets very happy. She calls me to tell me.”
You have a little sister? That sounds dangerous.
“She looks nothing like me. Her hair is all blonde. She is so cute. I don’t think she wants to be like me, but even if she did, I wouldn’t want her to have this life.”
Do girls come up to you on the street?
“Sometimes here in New York. Teenage girls who read, like, Teen Vogue and want to model, they say I’m their favorite model.”
Who’s your favorite model?
“Kate Moss! And Johnny Depp is my favorite movie star and she dated him.”
You must have been on a shoot or at a show with Kate, no?
“I have never been in the same room with her, never! I would remember.”
What would you say to her if you saw her?
“Nothing! I would just watch. I would probably hide.”
