I think she's naturally very thin and as she got older she lost some baby fat. She doesn't look haggard to me though. Here are some recent pics:

I adore that black bustier type top she has on... anybody know who that's by? I've been trying to find one of those, just a really nice one to wear out - ever since Kristen Davis wore a red one on SATC, I've been wanting to find one.

Anyway, Miss Danes looks lovely in one of the first pics w/ the blonde hair.

I've always liked her. I forget that she's only in her mid-twenties, though... she was so young (fifteen) on My So-Called Life, but always has always presented herself as being very mature for her age.

she's beautiful. she's been in such lovely movies (little women, romeo+juliet), I recently watched Brokedown Palace and fell in love with her again, she deserves a lot more recognition for her acting skills.

Brokedown Palace was a great movie. It made me cry. Has anyone here seen some of her more recent stuff? I'd reccommend The Hours (even though Claire only has a small part it's still a great movie) Igby goes down, Stage Beaty, and It's all about love. The last one might be hard to find in the US but it's worth looking for. But I do know some people really didn't like it. I think it's the kind of thing you either love or you hate.

I think she looks better with her hair curled, tied up, or short. Long, flat hair doesn't suit her.

And no one looks better with Leo than Claire Danes.
