^she´s so good in Homeland! I think that Claire and Damian Lewis are very much key to Homeland´s well deserved success. Carrie is a difficult role, Claire takes a real risk playing the role of a woman of so many "issues" going on, and who makes such dangerous moves. I love that Claire plays Carrie without trying to make her foxy or with total abandon of her looks. Very often actresses care too much about looking "preety", Claire isn´t one of them. I mean, she is very preety, but she is not distracted in her role by her looks. That´s maybe one of the reasons why Carrie is so believable and raw. Also, of course, the GREAT writing is key to this show. Solid, good, no nonsense writing.
I hadn´t seen her in movies in the last years, and it kinda surprised me to see her somehow changed in her face, I think her eyebrows are plucked in a strange "rainbow" shape that makes her face look odd.
In her public appearances she is very classy, very well dressed.
