On what she looks for in a project: “I think it is really clear when a script is good and you can determine that by just reading the first fifteen pages. I look for something that is imaginative and truthful; a coherent and engaging story and a character that undergoes a transformation no matter how modest.”

On My So Called Life and the attention it still gets:“It is not something I am remotely ashamed of - quite the opposite. I feel really lucky to have been part of something that continues to resonate so many years after.”
