Claudia Schiffer inks fashion deal

MOVIN' ON: Claudia Schiffer has joined Roland Mouret and Victoria and David Beckham in the orbit of British entertainment impresario Simon Fuller. The model has inked a partnership with Fuller, who propelled the Spice Girls to fame, dreamed up "Pop Idol," and nurtured the Beckham brand, for the worldwide management and representation of Schiffer's name, image and brand rights. The new partnership is a joint venture, aimed at developing Schiffer "branded products in fashion and lifestyle," according to a statement from Fuller's company 19 Entertainment. Fuller made waves in September when he formed a joint venture company with Mouret, 19 RM, to develop a string of fashion and design projects.

The Schiffer-Fuller partnership has Fuller managing all of Schiffer's affairs in beauty, fashion, lifestyle and TV, and is worldwide. "Simon is a creative thinker who understands how important fashion is to people," said Schiffer in the statement. Fuller added: "[Claudia's] global recognition as a fashion icon will provide us with many opportunities ahead." A spokeswoman for Fuller declined further comment.

i think more models will be wary of inking deals with anti-aging products after the cindy crawford botox "scandal". so it makes sense for them to make clothing deals instead.

i don't know if this is part of the original deal or a new one...
but i'm actually liking some of this quite a lot...
and the opening illustration going through all of the seasons is just so charming...

Probably bitter people who dislike "celebrity" lines. Some models have done some nice lines, like Elle McPhersons intimates line. Good for Claudia.

it immediately reminded me of the limi site as well...

so sad that the illustration from that site is not anywhere anymore...
i loved it so much and only have vague memories of mushrooms and trees left from that...
...

this illustration is a great one, imo...
