Hey all....

So I was browsing around today... and fell upon Coach.com.

Thought I'd share their new stuff.

I absolutely LOVE the striped fabric... it is SOOO Bonnie Cashin (back when Coach was always great)..

I know it's very Coach... but I thin it's the stripes and colors that do it for me with this collection.

i wish coach would go back to doing more plain and/or cashin-inspired pieces, and less of the monogram c's...
i remember that's how i got back into coach when reed krakoff took over...

I got the catalogue like two weeks ago, the rest of this crap is HIDEOUS. It's really like, inappropriate? A few seasons too late IMO.

we got the catalog because of my little sister. our house is on the maling list or whatev, and i agree that the stuff was not good....

really boring overall, but there didn't seem to be a lot of monogram. there's a $10,000 skin bag...wtf are they thinking.

a few good pieces.. the rest are boring, i agree.

they raised their prices too didn't they?? sigh.

They've been raising their prices for a few years now... trying to compete with "designer" brands....
Sad.

Oh ya, Coach is doing 10k croc bags, I asked a SA I was like "seriously, besides Mandy Moore who really carries a TEN THOUSAND DOLLAR COACH bag?" If I were going to spend 10k on a bag it most definately would be Hermes!

Coach is really jacking up thier prices and it's annoying in my opinion, they're not really worth what they're charging.

I saw that watch w/ the lacing in person, it is so dated it hurts, it's a knockoff of the Dior Bondage watch from like 2002.

hahaha! i agree with diorling and princess....coach will always be just coach, IMHO. they can raise they're prices all they want, but their signature designs and shapes all conjure up a midrange handbag line, and because a lot of the time, it's hit or miss, and the miss's being some very hideously tacky things, i dont think they can ever achieve the luxury brand status. coach bags are cute with a lil class. they will never be high end or designer.....and even their high price bags are just their simple designs in expensive materials....

wwd reported that coach has teamed with estee lauder and will be launching a fragrance in the coming year, and eventually cosmetics.

coach logo adorned lipstick tops...i can see it now.

Oh ya, the fragrance. Forgot about that, it's in the works, do you know how huge this fragrance will be? It'll be ENORMOUS, as long as it doesn't suck. Coach and cosmetics, uhm, what? The packaging would be interesting, Id like them to do some leather covered packaging. Even LV, who'll wh*re themselves out for a buck, isn't doing a fragrance of cosmetics line.

coach has improved a lot this year. i've found at least one or two bags that i would like from every season so far!
