Every time I see a new Meisel thread here I mentally perpare myself for disappointment before opening. This is pretty because it's you've got a pretty garden and a pretty girl in a pretty lighting... there's nothing that could possibly go wrong here. But Steven ''The Legend'' Meisel shot this? Willy fu*king Vanderperre could shoot stuff like this. It's so disappointing but she's looking at me with those pretty eyes and I just can't hate it. It's frustrating

This isn't an editorial, however. This is an ad campaign, for a fragrance to boot. It is meant to be displayed in department stores, at airport duty frees, and on the sidebar of web pages.

I love good story-telling as much as anybody but to expect it from a fragrance ad might be too optimistic.
