I have decided to keep the bag. The more I looked at it, the more I liked it. It makes sense for me. It has pockets on the outside for your ipod, phone, keys...a zippered pocket in the back that I would keep money in, and 3 pockets inside the bag. I would still have a ton of room for my daughter's diapers etc. I think it would keep me organized while still looking cute. I am still really worried about the suede. I am going tomorrow to purchase some type of spray to protect it. I purchased a spray can last year for my boots from Nordstrom, I hope they still carry that one. Can anyone recommend a product to product suede?

Sandra.. I just bought some the other week... I used it on a pair of sneakers that I want to keep super nice.. the results have been great... It's a brand called Meltonian

I am pretty sure that Coach sells leather maintenance products though... Perhaps you could try checking the website?

When I bought the bag, I asked the sales lady about a protectant. She said that Coach does not make one for suede only an eraser and brush. I will def. look into the brand you suggested, where can I find it? Thanks for the help!

I just went into a shoe shine place in Penn Station.

But I'm sure if you go to any shoe repair place.. you can find some stuff.. You might want to pick up a suede brush while you are at it though... The can suggests you brush the leather before you spray it. But Maybe since the bag is new.. you might not need to brush it? Hmmmm.. I wonder.

It came with a brush and eraser. I did not go today for the spray but will go for sure tomorrow. I will ask at the store for advice on brushing prior. I'll keep you posted!

Limited Edition Coach Bags

How many bags are produced to make them limited editions?
Does anybody know?

On Ebay a fuss is being made over the bigotti pocketbags because an actress from Desperate Housewives was carrying one. She's the housewife having the affair with the young boy?

Not sure how many limited editions are issued for each style, but the pocket bag has been seen on many celebs because they were given out at a Coach event some months back.

I really don't know how many of these bags were produced. Eva Longoria was photographed toting that purse.

I don't know if I would really call them "limited edition" as much as I would seasonal. I think they are pretty easy to get, I have seen a lot of women carrying them. I think the canvas w/ leather trim one is pretty nice, the rest bore me.

The actress Logoria from Desperate Housewives was photographed In Us Weekly with the biscotti suede and gold trim. That was the first to be sold out and now they're going for like $700 on Ebay up from the 498 list price.

Then they made it with biscotti suede and white trim and they were sold out.

The last version which is also probably sold out by now since it is no longer on their website is the Biscotti Suede with Turquoise Leather Trim. I like the turquoise color the best because of all the turquoise jewelry being worn this season and I just love turquoise.

It is a pretty bag but the celebrity coverage in Us really put it over the top.

The Pocket Satchel originally came out Spring 04, and it sold out. We brought it out in October in leather and suede, for Spring they're even more lovely. The Spring Gallery Satchels came out after Resort as a Spring surprise.

Personally. I LOVE the Jumbo signature esp the black, I would like the Nylon more but it has brass hardware which is too heavy for Spring. I love the leather and suede ones from Fall. They're gorgeous.

Hi! As the resident Coach expert, I just wondered what you thought of the Coach Signature Mettalic Satchel with Snake in black? I REALLY liked the looks of it from Coach.Com, and went to Coach Union Square store in SF yesterday to have a look-see. The Sales Associate who helped me stated they had just shipped them off (were they part of the winter collection?) so he had none to show me. He did say it was in btwn the size of the small and large satchel (which is what I wanted) and he did say its very nice in person. But since I have never seen one in person I was wondering what your personal opion of it is. I'd like to buy it I think. I wanted a black purse that was a tad bit on the "different" side and I really love the look of the satchels. THANKS!
