[Crying Diamonds]

Colette, one of Cristobal Balenciaga's favourite models. I remember one critic at one of his shows being horrified and describing her as vampiric?
Though I don't remember the critic's name nor the quote..
Does anyone know more about Colette or have any more photographs of her?

I think she was mentioned in John Fairchild's "The Fashionable Savages". You can buy it here on Amazon. Even if she isn't mentioned this is a great book for any fashion lover wanting to know about the golden age of couture (40s, 50s, 60s). Plus its pretty cheap!
