Comme Des Garcons - Guerrilla Stores

Yeah, that surprised me too, because being at such a distant location (comparatively) they don't get too many shoppers anyway, so they should be at the very least nice when answering quite adequate questions. Oh I also forgot to say, as soon as she harshly pointed me to sale items, she proceeded on to talking to a maintenance guy who stopped by the store for something other than actual work, just to chat as it looked like .... so my point being is that it's not like they are busy or something.

GBoy, i totally understand by what you are saying about nasty/disrespectful customers, because i do the same exact job... i sell clothes for a big name store too, so I do attest to the frustration when a customer messes up a stack of clothes - however I never get aggravated at customers. But it's not like CDG lady has a lot of clothes to fold anyway :D :D :D... i'm telling you, the store is a ghost town... 2-3, ok 4 customers at the very most at a time!!!!

I think it's just her personality that her manager doesn't know about (and which just probably drives people away from the store, that's why they don't get a lotta customers.... just a thought) or something. But if she is that nasty in nature, i think/hope someone will notice that and she'll get in a big trouble! I mean i LOVE the store, the set-up, the clothes, the visuals, and stuff... But i do think that the employees are the most important representation of any store or business in general!

I hope the next time i go in there, that c.... is gone :P

^ By the way you are not the only one that says something about CDG shpo in NY, i hve a friend who lives there and everytime he goes he is afraid of someone, i think it is a lady (a Japanese one) :( :( it is a pity for the image store!

that's funny!!! well, i have seen a japanese lady there, short hair, looked like she is in her 40's-50's. but the lady i was talking about was black and skinny, with a haircut similar to rei kawabuko, only shorter.
but the men that work there, i must say, are very cool!

I can attest to pretty bad service in that store as well.

^ yES Basel was a guest apperance only for a few weeks, unfortunately.... hope i-love had the chance to see the store because it was something really something!

Damn, when are they gonna open one on the westcoast....

whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat? dissapeared? oh no! was thinking go to basel to see the gs! and now?...:(

^I told you from the start the time of Basel was limited! It was only for the Basel Art Fair. Now no G in Basel! Pity....:(

^ i did not got! man!
yes, i found it very very nice, the space was just perfect...at least in the photos it was like that...PITY!!! :(
but, i am waiting for the next one...! dou you have an idea where it will be?

this has been discussed in the guerilla store thread.

Ok, could you point me to the right page in that thread, beacause I can't seem to find it amongst the 36pgs. Thanks!

Yes I went for the art fair and so I also went to see the Guerilla Store. The place was too elegant imo, but I liked the idea of having a GS only for such a short time. I will go to the Berlin end of September for a week and will definetely check out the store there.
