Contouring / Minimizing Your Nose

A lot of hairstylists will suggest different hairstyles for you if you have a bigger nose, wider face, etc. I also have a big nose and to bring less attention to it, I have my hair up (the bangs) sort of like in Adrian Brody's picture. I also have enough volume up there too. Volume is key.

but I ended up just figuring it out on my own because you can always tell if something just doesn't fit your face. For example, I can never have my hair too short--my face will just be too much.

I completely agree with the volume bit. I think big voluminous hair is the most flattering, no matter what your 'flaw' is.

I absolutely LOVE roman noses!!! So much, in fact, I almost wish I had one!! I don't know why....it just adds character and makes a face so much more interesting/unique--in a good way! I also have a thing for guys with roman noses

Hi,
Try playing around with bronzer on your nose, and see how it looks! I have a very wide nose, and quite rounded at the end - I hate it! However, if I apply bronzer down the front of my nose (I think it's called the bridge) it draws attention to that part - and my nose doesn't look as wide.

You could try putting bronzer at the sides of your nose - maybe this would draw attention to the lovely width, and focus attention away from the bump you don't like?

Diorbaby, I adore roman noses. You should play up such a strong, unique feature. As others have suggested, perhaps use hairstyle rather than makeup, to show it off. Don't shy away from it. A strong nose needs a strong personality.

Nose

Well i have a sort of prominent nose,its long and it looks like eugenis volodina's nose.And i dont really like my nose and im very self-consious about it=(Does anyone know any good make-up tricks to make a nose seem more shorter and smaller?

Toche Eclat down the bridge of the nose. It saves my face every day. It makes my nose look straight (it's slightly crooked, I'm the only one who can see it though).

Nose too wide: slightly darker makeup on the sides

Nose too long: slightly darker makeup on the tip

Nose too bumpy: slightly darker makeup in the bump

Nose to small or crooked: a straight line of highlighter down the bridge of the nose. Makes it look longer and striahgter if it is crooked, that is.

Just remember, slightly darker means just that, SLIGHTLY. And blend, blend, blend. Lines of demarcation are so unattractive no matter where they are.

for wide noses: a line of makeup slightly lighter than your skin tone on the bridge to make it look more straight
