Uhm, maybe people in the TFS star style forum can name her, but I doubt anyone else on the planet can. She doesn't get any real press, accept on sites like cobrasnake and the like that only people who know her already look at. She is just a drunken mess like all of the scenesters. Don't kid yourself that anyone can tell her apart walking down the street, she dresses and acts like they all do: obnoxious and drunk. Her only distinguishing feature is her last name.

^ But you can't discredit the fact that she DOES have a following, whether it's just on the Internet or what and that among the sceneters, she does standout more than most. Actually, around the world, there are people that are aware what CS is and who Cory Kennedy is. If I'm not mistaken, the "Cory craze" even began in Europe (Holland?) before it really hit in America, ironically. Now a lot of people over there as well as around the world (for one, I'm from Manila and I'm very much aware who she is) -- in Barcelona/Spain alone, there's been this "craze" about her among a lot of the teens there.

She may not be the biggest superstar to emerge or whatever but you just can't discredit the fact that she has gotten some sort of "fame" from all of this. Besides, how long has she been doing this? Almost a couple of years, at the most? For all you know if she keeps this up, all the "superstar" stuff will actually start happening for her in the next few years. No one knows.

MJCouture, that comment was a little off. People on the fashion spot may have sparked some of her followings, but she is definitely not only known here. She has been in paper magazine, nylon magazine many times, some LA newspapers, the Sunday styles section of The New York Times which is pretty big, not to mention the many blogs and fan pages she inhabits. Perezhilton.com, the cobrasnake, gawker, the skullset and misshapes all talk about her and showcase her pictures, and in just about every forum/blog people showcase their opinion about her. She is either obsessed over or loathed, so to each their own opinion, but Cory is definitely all over the place at the moment..i dont think you can state how she acts unless you have been around her/know her, so you cant really tell if she is obnoxious or not

Does anyone know what her parents do? Is she one of the celebutant/ celeb offspring crew? I ask because I think it's interesting thats he's always mixing high-end designer pieces with American Apparel-type items.

On another note, I have to agree with a comment made earlier in this thread. Cory's look is VERY common in the LA/Silverlake hipster scene; I live there and know it well. I know literally dozens of girls who look exactly like her and I doubt that she was the originator. I do agree that it is a certain look, and fascinating nonetheless. But unique given her environment? Not so much.

Her parents is what I can recall just a couple of normal middleclass parents - not celebs or anything. The name Kennedy is not from the jfk family.

I dont remember exactly what they do but I think they run an adult highschool education program or something like that?

A lot of people have that last name. Quite a few people even have her first name and last name together even. Whoa. She's not from the political Kennedy family. She's just a middle class kid partying it up. Nothing mind blowing there.

For some reason, I doubt that she has the ability to act/sing/model... her modeling pictures were proof that her modeling skills are a bit off. It's the Edie Segwick-syndrom; she's so good at being herself that she really can't pretend to be anyone else, and she doesn't really posess any supreme talent other than being herself!
