Farah Pahlavi was the Empress of Iran reigning from 1959 till 1979 (Originally as Queen) before fleeing during the Islamic Revolution, she now lives in both France and the USA.
Thought I'd start the thread with her wedding dress it was a custom Dior dress designed by Yves Saint Laurent and its a shame there are no good photos of it online and I presume it was lost and later destroyed when she fled Iran, also note that the dress is actually sleeveless with a coat added which was also designed by YSL, her tiara was designed by Harry Winston and features the Noor-ul-Ain diamond.

Also I was debating between putting this in Star Style or Icons From The Past because she is mostly known for her fashion when she was Empress of Iran, so if mods think it is more suited for IftP move it there
